Ik ben Floris en ik begin in september met Electrical Engineering. Ik kom uit Eindhoven en zoek dus dringend een kamer (ben nu 7 uur per dag kwijt met reizen). Ik ben een rustige jongen, speel elektrisch gitaar (oefenen kan met koptelefoon) en luister graag naar muziek. Ik ben een onderzoeker, altijd wel bezig met projecten rond elektronica, 3D printen en programmeren, bijvoorbeeld voor verbeterde geluidstechniek op mijn kamer. Ik vind het ook heel leuk om dingen te repareren. Ik lees graag sci-fi, hou van wandelen in de natuur en hard fietsen. Ik heb thuis en bij de scouting een beetje leren koken, het lijkt me leuk om meer te leren en straks ook met huisgenoten te koken en te eten. Ik zoek het liefst een kamer in een studentenhuis met mensen die het gezellig vinden om soms ook samen leuke dingen te doen. Mijn naam is Wies, ik ben 23 jaar en momenteel woonachtig bij mijn ouders. In 2025 heb ik mijn studie International Social Work afgerond en sinds april 2026 ben ik werkzaam als trajectbegeleider bij een inburgeringsorganisatie in Nijmegen. Vanuit mijn functie als trajectbegeleider werk ik in Centraal Gelderland, met Arnhem als standplaats, en begeleid ik cliënten uit de regio’s Lingewaard en Overbetuwe. Ik beschik over een stabiel inkomen uit loondienst met een bruto maandsalaris van €2.220,-. Ik ben financieel zelfstandig, ga zorgvuldig om met mijn uitgaven en ben op zoek naar een woning waar ik voor langere tijd kan wonen. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik op kamers gewoond in Nijmegen en internationale ervaring opgedaan, waaronder 3,5 maand stage in Nepal en een jaar stage in Ecuador (september 2024 – juli 2025). Deze periodes hebben mij veel geleerd over zelfstandigheid, verantwoordelijkheid en het omgaan met verschillende culturen, contexten en situaties. Na mijn studie en internationale ervaringen wil ik nu graag mijn leven verder opbouwen in Nederland en mijn eigen plek creëren. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, vind ik het erg leuk om te koken en bakken, en ben ik graag creatief bezig. Ik ben een rustig, verantwoordelijk en sociaal persoon, die zorgvuldig met spullen en mijn omgeving omgaat. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football).
