Na een tussenjaar als skileraar in Oostenrijk werk ik nu in de horeca. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik van fotograferen, wintersport, Formule 1 en avontuurlijke vakanties. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook relaxed huis waar iedereen zijn eigen ding kan doen en waar ik me ook op mijn studie kan focussen.

I am a very spontaneus, adventurous and calm person, I like to play board games, climbing, reading, watching documentaries, go on hikes, extreme sports and parachuting solo: YES, I have many many hobbies! (like even making soaps, brewing beer, restoring furniture, if you can think it I tried it). If the vibes are there I also like to cook and perhaps hang out with my flatmates but hey, if the vibes are not there I am super chill and we can still entertain daily conversations whilst we cook. P.S. if you'll allow me to rent this room, I will most likely furnish it with furniture I fixed and restored myself and bring it all the way from Italy eheh. I understand some Dutch and can easily live with other Dutch students (I want to learn the language) but I am most comfortable in English, Spanish and Italian, however, I already lived in many Dutch households with 0 issues. I am not argumentative at all, I just like my own time and space, therefore if my co-tenants are clean and do not scream at random times at night, I will definitely bond with them and cause 0 issues. In my 5 years of house sharing, I never ever had issues with my flatmates or house owners. What else, I am relatively handy so I can definitely fix some basic issues in the house that need a fast look or assess the damages before calling a licensed handy men, which proved to be quite useful in some instances (I lived with some Spanish girls that had super long hair and I had to unclog the shower and change the sink a few times due to the hair going everywhere). I cannot guarantee that I will always know what to do in case something broke, but things happen and I can at least make sure we do not make it worse. What else, I am a very quiet and yet very extroverted person, or very talkative and introverted on some other days, an unusual combination I guess. Lastly, I will study management of cultural diversity at Tilburg, this to say that I do know how to talk and live respectfully both with men and women or with people of different cultures so you do not have to worry about not knowing how the other tenants will react to me. I cannot guarantee we will be best friends but I can guarantee that 0 complaints are going to come because of me!

My name is Joshua, and I am about to start my second year of the Master's program in Artificial Intelligence and Engineering Systems at TU Eindhoven. This year of my studies is going to be demanding, as I'll start work on my thesis, so what I'm really looking for is a calm and quiet home and I think a studio suits that perfectly. I mainly use my home to study, sleep, and unwind, and I have no interest in turning it into a social hub. I don't throw parties, and I don't invite loud friends over. I'm pretty introverted but even if I want to do social things, I rather do it outside my home because I love having my space to myself. I also take real pride in how I look after a space. I'm very clean and organized, and I bring the same discipline to my home that I bring to my studies, everything has its place, and I stay on top of upkeep rather than letting things slide. You can trust that your property would be well cared for the whole time I'm there. On the practical side, I'm someone you can count on. Rent will always be paid on time, without exception. I don't smoke, and I don't have pets, so there's no risk of odor, damage, or allergens in the property. I'll be honest that I'm searching with some urgency, since my current contract ends at the end of August, but I don't want that to come across as desperation. I'm looking for a stable, long-term home for the rest of my Master's and the coming years as I transition into full time work. I think a quiet, well-kept studio and a quiet, well-kept tenant just make sense together, and I'd be very happy to share references, or anything else that would put your mind at ease. Ik ben niet erg kieskeurig ik vind de locatie (Stad Groningen) of omgeving belangrijker dan de woonruimte zelf wel is het belangrijk dat bij een huurwoning huurtoeslag mogelijk is mijn voorkeur gaat natuurlijk uit naar een (studio/appartement) maar sta ook open voor een Kamer met gezellige huisgenoten. Over mij: Ik ben rustig, netjes en sociaal. Ik hou van dagjes uit, van wandelen, foto graveren filmavonden en heb een passie voor muziek en ga graag naar festivals & opstap. ik rook niet en ben een gezelligheid drinker, verder hou ik van gezellige sfeer en ik weet ook goed om een gezellige sfeer te creëren.
