Mijn naam is Emma-Jane. Ik ben 27 jaar en werk als onderzoeker bij het Erasmus MC. Vanwege omstandigheden moest ik mijn eerdere woonruimte verlaten. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Afrika. Na mijn studie in Duitsland ben ik naar Nederland gekomen voor mijn PhD-onderzoek. Ik begrijp Nederlands goed en kan het ook goed schrijven. Zelf spreken vind ik nog wat lastiger, maar ik ben het actief aan het leren. Daarnaast ben ik al geruime tijd in een stabiele en toegewijde relatie. Toch woon ik graag zelfstandig, omdat ik merk dat dit het beste werkt voor mijn onderzoek en werkzaamheden. Een rustige eigen woonruimte helpt mij om mij volledig op mijn werk te kunnen concentreren. In mijn vrije tijd breng ik graag tijd door met vrienden en ben ik graag in de natuur. Vooral een lange fietstocht langs een meer of de zee vind ik heerlijk. Holland heeft inmiddels echt mijn hart gestolen. Ik voel mij hier thuis en zou mij hier graag voor de lange termijn willen vestigen.
