My name is Javier and I’m moving to the Netherlands with my partner, Marta. I have been accepted for a Master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Marta will be starting her Master’s at the HKU in Utrecht this fall. ​We are looking for a long-term place to call home. Regarding our finances, we are both planning to find part-time jobs while we study and we will be applying for the DUO student finance and housing allowance (huurtoeslag), which ensures we can comfortably cover the rent. ​We have already secured a temporary place from August 3rd to August 26th, which gives us some time to settle in and meet in person if you’d like.
