About us: - Me, Silja (39): team leader, mother, and a psychology student. I hold a Master of Business Administration degree and am currently on maternity leave from my permanent position. I will be on study leave during our exchange. - My husband, Jaakko (37): vocational electrical teacher and father. In addition to his work, he is currently completing his pedagogical studies for teachers. He will be on parental leave during our stay. - Our children: a 4-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. What we are looking for: - Accommodation in Groningen for approximately 26 August 2026 – 24 January 2027 (dates are flexible for the right place) - Minimum 35 m², at least one bedroom required - Preferably furnished (we can arrange children’s beds ourselves if needed) - Washing machine and laundry facilities - Parking space nearby - A balcony or terrace would be a big plus - Within 10 km cycling distance of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences (Grote Kruisstraat 2/1, 9712 TS Groningen) We are also landlords ourselves in Finland, so we understand how important it is to take good care of an apartment.
