Hey hey, I am Carmen 👋 I am 29, from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthavens. Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay. Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home (from June onward) I have lived with roommates before and I can very confidently say I am a very tidy and organized person 😄 (and I'm always buying fresh flowers for the house. See picture for reference) Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, going to a museum, the gym or a nice walk, or just relaxing with a nice book. My name is Sandra and I am a 25-year-old Spanish female. I am a game programmer who just moved to beautiful Amsterdam to work at the renowned Guerrilla Games. This opportunity is a dream come true because I was already in love with the company but now I have fallen in love with the city as well. I hold a bachelor’s degree in video game design and development, which I completed with a thesis awarded with high honors. My professional journey began with an internship at King during the summer of my third year of university, followed by another one at Ubisoft during my final year. Upon graduation, I joined Smilegate on a permanent contract, where I have worked for the past three and a half years. Throughout these years, my living situation has varied. I lived with my parents during university, then shared an apartment with a friend for a year and a half, and most recently, shared an apartment with three flatmates for two years. All these experiences have made me very aware of the qualities I value in a tenant, flatmate, and neighbor, and I am committed to embodying them myself. Since I spend most of my day at the office, I value coming back to an organized and clean home free of noise and smoke. Nevertheless, I spend most of my time away. I mostly eat out with friends. I have been adding a pin to every restaurant that I have enjoyed, so you can barely see the streets of my Google Maps anymore! I also go a lot to Soho House, a private members’ club, where I indulge in reading books, watching movies, and exercising. I aim to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Hey there! I am Shreyaank and 22 years old, currently pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at UT. I am currently living in a temporary accommodation in Witbreuksweg and therefore looking for something permanent and a cozy student house. I am always down for meals, drinks, games and other social activities together with my housemates. Owing to my outgoing nature, I also like to meet and socialize with new people very much whilst keeping a balance with my studies and personal time. Cooking food is also something about which I am quite passionate, even though it might look as if I don't eat enough as much as I cook! I am also learning Dutch and I try to speak it at the supermarket. Knowing how to speak German helps me to understand the Dutch language as well to a certain extent. Currently, I play Volleyball in the Mix team and am also a member of the Mix Committee of Harambee. Earlier, I played Football as a major sport for 12 years and for a change sometimes, I used to swim and play Table Tennis and Cricket as well. I like to be physically fit and thus find myself going to the gym as well. Overall, I would like to move in with a group of warm and fun people who like to spend time together! I am a high school student in Greece, but soon enough I will be a student at the university of Twente, in the Advanced Technology bachelor. I am a big fan of chess and I enjoy skateboarding a lot. I also play the guitar, the piano and the accordion. Music is really important to me in general and I listen to it all the time (no worries, I use headphones!). Mostly rock, classical, some relaxing pop, but also many other styles. I also like reading books, especially science fiction. I am always eager to learn new things, but I also very much enjoy teaching others stuff that I know, such as chess, or maybe just share a fun fact that I have learned. I cook a little, but am in the process of learning more, hope you consider Greek cuisine a plus!

Hi misschien toekomstige huisgenoten, Ik ben Fenna en ik kom uit Den Bosch. Ik ga in Amsterdam fulltime opleiding volgen. Gezien de reistijd van 2 uur heen en 2 uur terug is, is reizen geen optie en daarom zoek ik een kamer. Ik ben sociaal, creatief en spontaan. Ik vind het heel leuk om op nieuwe avonturen te gaan en nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het leuk om kleding te maken, om te sporten en om gezellig te kletsen met vrienden. Ik sport in de sportschool en ik ben scheidsrechter voor de KNVB. Mijn passie is kleding maken met de naaimachine. Hoi! Ik ben Matthijs en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend studiejaar ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor sociologie in Nijmegen. Ik ben veel op de hockeyclub te vinden. Zo speel ik zelf 2 keer in de week en geef ik training aan de kleintjes onder 10 jaar. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het heel erg leuk om te koken. Voor vrienden, familie, maar ook om mezelf te verwennen (vooral met de risotto, dat is toch wel mijn favoriet). Verder vind ik het erg gezellig om regelmatig een spelletjesavond te houden en ben ik ook altijd in voor een wandelingetje. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook rustig studentenhuis waarin er veel contact is tussen de huisgenoten. Denk aan samen avondeten of spelletjesavonden houden. Wel zou het fijn zijn als het huis een vrijblijvend karakter heeft. Groetjes!
