Just recently, I moved to Den Haag to start my 4-year PhD in oceanography at TU Delft, which began in May. To integrate into Dutch culture, I’ll soon be attending a language course and meeting up at a language café every week. For nearly the past 10 years, I’ve lived in shared flats and always had great experiences sharing a home with interesting people from diverse ages, backgrounds, nationalities, and genders. I’m happy to provide references from previous landlord. I’m looking for a long-term rental with a budget of up to €1,100 per month, prefer a room with a desk for work, and am ready to move in by June 15th with all my paperwork prepared. Sharing a home feels best when I can openly talk with my roommates and when it feels like a cozy family. Everyone should have their own space and life, but sharing dinners or breakfasts on the weekend with good food or going for a swim at the beach, or a concert, would be wonderful. As I enjoy cooking a variety of cuisines, I’m happy to keep a tidy and clean kitchen, which makes cooking and living together so much easier. You’ll often find me at Zuiderstrand, Haagse Bos, Meijendel, or anywhere nature calls. I also love to join a good concert or a relaxed evening at the beach. Open communication is key to me in a shared flat, because it makes life smoother and more enjoyable if one simply talks about the good and the bad. It would be great to find a place that quickly turns into a warm home with compatible roommates that are open-minded and tolerant.

Hoi! Mijn naam is Ids, ik ben 23 jaar. Momenteel studeer ik Journalistiek aan de Hogeschool Utrecht en ik zit in de afrondende fase van mijn studie. Dat betekent dat ik binnenkort begin met werken en dus op zoek ben naar een fijne, stabiele plek om te wonen in Utrecht. Naast mijn studie werk ik bij koffiebar Wakuli als barista. Daarnaast werk ik ook als receptionist bij zwembad De Kromme Rijn. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief: ik sport veel in de sportschool, zwem regelmatig en volg een acteercursus, wat echt een passie van mij is. Ik ben sociaal en vind het gezellig om samen te eten of een drankje te doen, maar ik hecht ook veel waarde aan rust en mijn eigen plek. Na een drukke dag vind ik het fijn om me even terug te trekken om te studeren, te ontspannen of iets lekkers te koken. Die balans tussen gezelligheid en ruimte voor mezelf zoek ik ook in een huis. Verder ben ik netjes en schoon: ik vind het belangrijk dat mijn kamer en de gezamenlijke ruimtes geordend blijven, en daar draag ik graag mijn steentje aan bij. Daarom lijkt het me ook superleuk om in Groningen te gaan wonen. Ik hockey in Leeuwarden en volgend seizoen wil ik graag in Groningen gaan hockeyen.
