However, I prefer a quiet home environment and do not play instruments at home. I am a quiet, responsible, and tidy person. I am not a party person, I do not smoke, and I will not be bringing any pets with me, although I love animals and grew up with my cat, Bebop, who will stay at home in Istanbul with my mother. My father owns a farm in the south of Turkey so I have been around dogs, goats, chicken as well. Mom is a top level executive at a German Insurance company and dad is a farmer and a tourism professional. I am used to co-living and shared living environments, as I have experience staying in dorms, and I always make sure that my living space is clean and well taken care of. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. Hi there, my name is Jordan and I am a 29 year old undergraduate student from Los Angeles who will be doing an exchange at Utrecht University from August 2026 to August 2027. I will be studying law & political theory. Though I am a student and will not be working I will be receiving extensive financial aid through my home university and have a large pool of savings, so I will be able to meet whatever necessary income requirements. I also have a guarantor to assist me, if necessary. When I'm not studying I love to read, watch the NBA (go Lakers!), try new restaurants, and go to the movies. When the weather is nice I like to be outside with a good book or picnic. In a housing environment I like to keep things neat and organized and I am very respectful of other peoples' space/items/sleep, etc. I like to take it easy for the most part during the week, but I also enjoy a night out on the weekend. I am happy to have relaxed social gatherings at home like dinner parties, game nights, or film nights, too. When getting to know new housemates I think choosing a show to watch together, cooking a meal together, or chatting over a card/board game are all great ways to connect. I am a non-smoker and I do not have any pets. I love animals, though I would not be able to have any pets go into my room in a shared accommodation as I have an allergy.
