My name is Sofia, I'm 25, originally from Slovakia and I've just started my first year of bachelor's in Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I'm currently based in Almere, however, I'm actively looking for a room closer to the university to cut down on commute expenses. Besides obviously being interested in psychology as I have chosen it as my programme of study, I'm into social science in general - history, sociology, learning languages and immersing in the unfamiliar are also my jam. I'm also an avid reader which is linked to the fact that I used to write one shots and short stories mainly towards the end of primary school and throughout high school (I haven't actually written anything that's not school-related in quite a long while but I definitely want to revert to it at some point). I am pretty respectful of other people's space and boundaries and pretty used to living in shared accommodation at this point - the place I live in now is my 5th shared housing. Therefore, cleaning after using common areas such as the kitchen and bathroom is something I do automatically without having to be reminded of or scolded for not doing it. I'm pretty introverted but I do have extraverted moments every now and then. I value privacy but I'm also definitely down for shared activities, cooking, watching TV or just chilling. Het was ontzettend leuk om tijdens het reizen en via de school waar ik op zat, mensen uit allerlei verschillende landen te leren kennen en daarnaast in aanraking te komen, en te kunnen leven in een nieuw land met een eigen unieke taal en cultuur. Ik heb momenteel nog een onderhuur locatie, die binnenkort helaas verloopt. Ik woon nu in een super gezellig huis en hoop die gezelligheid elders te kunnen vinden! Qua persoonlijkheid zou je me denk ik kunnen omschrijven als iemand die nieuwsgierig, creatief, gepassioneerd, avontuurlijk en verantwoordelijk is en als iemand die graag de gezelligheid opzoekt. Ik kan serieus zijn als de situatie daarom vraagt, maar ik ben over zijn algemeenheid iemand die relaxt is en graag spontaan dingen onderneemt.
