Hi everyone. We are a couple, both working, looking for a place to stay for just 1 month (Sep 2026), while we are in between flats. James is American, Hannah is German, we have been living in Amsterdam for about 3 years now. We both work in the office 5 days a week so we are not home during the day, and we will be gone 2 out of 4 weekends in September, so the use of the apartment will be mostly limited to evenings.

My name is Lovro I'm an architecture student, currently entering the last year of my Master's programme at TU Delf, where I'm also employed as a student assistant. I come from Croatia, Zagreb to be exact, where I completed my Bachelor's degree. Before coming to Delft, I did an internship in Copenhagen for half a year. During my first year in the Netherlands I lived in a shared apartment with great roommates in Rotterdam, however I decided to look for a more cozy and better space. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
