I’m a junior lawyer originally from Istanbul and decided to take a year away to do my Master’s. I’ll still be working remotely with my current company on a part-time basis while I’m here. I’m in a position to pay the full year’s rent in advance if that would make things easier for the landlord. I therefore have stable and sufficient financial means to comfortably meet my rental and living expenses. I’m looking for a nice and cool place to live during my time in Rotterdam. I’m a non-smoker, tidy and considerate, and I’m the kind of person who genuinely likes keeping the place I live in nice and well looked after. I’m already in Rotterdam now, and I’d love to come by, see the place and meet you whenever convenient. I’m quite flexible with timing, so I can also come on short notice if that helps. I’m an environmental scientist currently working full-time as a product developer. Outside of work, I working out, travel, and cook dinner for friends. I’m a non-smoker and I’m not someone who hosts parties, so I value having a calm and comfortable home. Respect towards my previous housemates has always brought the best out of all of us and I intend to keep that up. I work full-time and am financially stable, with substantial savings. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
