I am originally from Warsaw, Poland. I am 37 years old, single. Educated as a product designer, working for years as a food concept developer. My job is to design and help with opening new restaurants, cafe etc. After 4 years of living in Swedish, calm countryside I wanted to come back to more busy, city life. That is why i am here in Amsterdam. I’m starting full time job in a lovely, French bakery Farine this September. I’m a very quiet and calm person, love having a good routine. I’m passionate about high quality food, design and art. During my free time I mostly read books or swim in open waters. A clean, well organized space is a key for my well being. I hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Padova, and I will be at TU Delft for a 6-month research visit in Computational Fluid Dynamics at the Process & Energy Department. My stay is fully funded. I have over 7 years of experience in shared housing, so I’m very used to co-living routines. I am clean, organized, quiet, and respectful of shared spaces. In my free time, I enjoy cooking dinners, playing board games, or going for outdoor walks with flatmates, while always respecting everyone's privacy and space. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
