My journey has taken me all the way from Sweden to Breda after spending a long time figuring out what I truly wanted to study. Hence why I've now set out to find a place to stay for my studies. I understand that the housing market is indeed in a bit of a crisis but hopefully there is a possibility to work through you guys to find something.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

About me: I am Bernardo, but everyone calls me Bernie, I am 21 years old (22 in August :)), I am from Portugal and this will be my second year living abroad in the Netherlands, as a student. To continue my MSc in Biomedical engineering at the university of the Twente, I will be doing an internship at the Radboud University Medical Center from September to January (winter semester). For this reason, I am looking for housing approximately within that period! I am used to shared living, and I am absolutely comfortable living with any gender. I like to socialize and chill with my roommates, whether to do more cozy activities like playing games, watching movies and cooking or to grab a drink and go on a night out. In terms of shared living, I would say that I am a respectful person, always being aware of the noise I make, while being tidy and give my roommates their space!
