Hi everyone! My name is Justus, 25, from Sweden, and I moved to the Netherlands in autumn 2023 to begin my PhD in Amsterdam & Utrecht. I have previously lived in the UK and US, where I always had flatshares - sometimes with people I already knew, sometimes with people I didn't already know. The current lease I'm on is coming to an end at the end of summer, which is why I am looking for a new place to call home, hopefully until at least the end of the PhD programme in autumn 2027. Optimally, I am looking for a place in Amsterdam, Utrecht, or any of the surrounding (in between) cities and villages. Briefly about me: I am more on the quiet side, but always love to do things with friends (and flatmates), whether something active, movie/game night, or going out for an event or drinks (the latter hopefully with a good game on the TV!). I don't smoke, and drink only socially when going out somewhere. Furthermore, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, which means a lot of sport (mostly cycling now recently, but also love running, strength training & football), going to bed early (like 22-7), and eating healthy. For the latter I thoroughly enjoy to cook, and in general I make big batches, so I'm more than happy to make extra portions for my flatmates!
