I’m looking for a cozy and friendly flatshare to make the most of my stay in the Netherlands. A bit about me: I’m a photographer and videographer, passionate about capturing city vibes and nature landscapes. I love wandering around, exploring new places—whether it’s in the city or the countryside. I’m also a huge sports fan, especially skateboarding, basketball, and football. I also love traveling—I spent four months in Asia and four months in Morocco, and I’ve always enjoyed immersing myself in different cultures. ENGLISH Hey! Let me tell me something about myself. After I recently graduated as an Industrial Design Engineer at TU Delft, I have recently started a brand new life phase. I found a job as a Product Designer in Amsterdam which I am super excited about! I already found a temporary room (where I currently live), but unfortunately I have to move out at the end of September (but earlier is also possible). So I am desperately looking for a new place now! But of course, I understand that you would like to know some more about me than just these practical matters. It is, after all, reassuring to know if the person who you will live together with is actually a decent human being. So, let me shortly introduce myself. My name is Stein, I am 26 years old and would describe myself as a passionate person with a lot of perseverance. Other than the passion for job as a Product Designer, where can fully immerse myself in activities like 3D printing, electronics, graphic design and building CAD models, I love to exhaust myself in the gym and dance like crazy at Drum and Bass parties once in a while. Cooking is also one of my favorite activities. I love to spend hours in the kitchen and delight my friends and family (and future housemates) with the most extravagant dishes (see pictures). One last thing, I hate cleaning… But have no fear! My hate for having a filthy home is way bigger, so I will clean everything like a maniac after all. I would love to come by some time to get to know each other in real life, hopefully see you soon! 😉 NEDERLANDS Hey! Laat ik even beginnen met iets over mezelf te vertellen. Nadat ik recent ben afgestudeerd als Industrieel Ontwerper aan de TU Delft, ben ik pas geleden aan een gloednieuwe levensfase begonnen. Ik heb een baan als ‘product design engineer’ (of in het Nederlands gewoon productontwerper…) gevonden in Amsterdam en ik ben er enorm enthousiast over! Ik zit momenteel in een tijdelijke kamer maar ik moet hier helaas uiterlijk eind september uit (eerder kan dus ook). Nu ben ik dus wanhopig op zoek naar een nieuw plekje! Maar, natuurlijk snap ik dat je wat meer over mij wilt weten dan alleen deze praktische zaken. Het is natuurlijk toch een geruststelling als je weet dat de persoon waarmee je samen gaat leven gewoon een normaal, fatsoenlijk mens is. Dus laat ik me ook nog even als ‘persoon’ voorstellen. Ik ben Stein, 26 jaar en ik zou mezelf beschrijven als een gepassioneerd persoon met veel doorzettingsvermogen. Buiten de passie voor mijn baan als productontwerper, waar ik me volledig kan verliezen in activiteiten als 3D printen, grafisch ontwerp, het maken van CAD modellen en het friemelen met elektronica, ben ik er ook groot fan van om mezelf te slopen in de sportschool en af en toe helemaal los te gaan op Drum & Bass feesten. Een andere grote hobby van mij is koken. Ik spendeer graag uren in de keuken en verras mijn vrienden, familie en (hopelijk) toekomstige huisgenoten dan met de meest uiteenlopende gerechten. Nog een laatste dingetje, ik haat schoonmaken… Maar vrees niet! Mijn haat voor een vies huis is nog groter, dus ik maak alles nog steeds schoon alsof mijn leven ervan afhangt. Het lijkt me heel leuk om binnenkort een keer langs te komen en elkaar in het echt te leren kennen! Dus hopelijk, tot snel 😊

I will be starting my first year at Fontys, studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering, in Sep 2025. I am looking for a room or studio near the university or with easy access to it. Ideally, I would like to move in around Aug 1, 2025, but I am open to earlier dates if the accommodation is suitable. My budget is flexible, as long as the cost is fair for the type of accommodation and its location. A little bit about me: Although English is my mother tongue, I have been living in Germany since the age of two; therefore, I am also fluent in German. I enjoy music and sports, and I am a tidy person. I live about three hours away from Eindhoven and can easily come for a viewing if anything becomes available.
