Hi! I’m originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, but I’ve been living and working in the Netherlands since April last year, after moving from Spain. Over the past two decades, I’ve lived and worked in eight countries across three continents, so I’m no stranger to adapting to new environments and respecting shared spaces. I currently work full-time through an agency in the Netherlands and do rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) at Scania Painted Parts situated in Meppel. I’m responsible, independent, and always pay my rent on time—currently it’s deducted from my wages while living in employer accommodation, but I’m now looking for a more private place to call home. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, photography, and spending time in nature. I don’t drink or smoke, but I do appreciate a calm and respectful living environment. I’m clean, quiet, and easy to live with—whether it’s a private place or a shared one. I'm looking for a place where I can recharge, rest well between shifts, and hopefully settle for the long term. Mijn naam is Ashley, ik ben 21 jaar oud en momenteel student aan Windesheim Zwolle. Ik ben nog een half jaar bezig met mijn studie, waarna ik ga beginnen met stage en een korte periode naar het buitenland ga voor een minor. Ik heb een eigen kat die voor de helft binnen is en de andere helft buiten. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, ben ik creatief bezig en houd ik van fotografie en videografie. I'm Núria Domínguez, a 26-year-old Spanish student looking for a room in Meppel or Zwolle from late August 2025 to the end of January 2026. In September, I will start studying at NHL Stenden University (Meppel), where I’ll be following a minor in Inclusive Education. I’m looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-connected place to live. A bit about me, I’m currently completing my second degree in Primary Education, after earning my first degree in Speech Therapy. I’m passionate about education, communication, and supporting children’s development. I have experience working with kids and in social inclusion programs, and I’m used to combining work and studies. While in the Netherlands, I also plan to find a part-time job. As a flatmate, I’m tidy, respectful, calm, and easygoing. I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets. I enjoy living with others to share experiences and make new friends, but I also value a peaceful environment for studying and relaxing. I’ve spent more than eight years in shared student accommodations, so I’m very used to keeping a clean, organized, and friendly living space.
