Hello! I am a prospective international student from Norway looking for an affordable, small, furnished room or apartment in Leiden. I am tidy, organised, and respectful of shared spaces, and I will not be bringing many belongings with me. I prefer furnished apartments or studios, but I am also open to sharing. As an international student, it is important that I am able to register at the address with the Leiden municipality (for my BSN). I am looking for long-term accommodation with a budget of up to €850 per month (utilities included). I can provide proof of financial stability, including a bank statement and a guarantor if required. I will also be able to provide my university admission letter once it is received. My rent will be financially supported through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund, and I also have personal savings. I am happy to provide identification or any additional information if needed, and I am available for online viewings. Hi, I am Rafael, 43 years old, originally from Brazil, and I have been living in Groningen for the past 7 years. I came to the Netherlands to do my PhD in artificial intelligence, and for the past 3 years I have been working as a Lecturer in AI at the University of Groningen. Hoi! Even though I’m from abroad, I’d love to get to know Dutch people – so I try to adapt with my language! My name is Paula and I am 25 years old. I am studying Psychology as my second Bachelor degree in Leiden. I live here since one year after I ended my first bachelor in Sustainable Economics in Germany (Bonn). That was a nice time but figured out that Psychology is my path that I want to pursue. I am interested in conversations and people per se but also enjoy easy talks to laugh a lot. I can imagine to live in Leiden or The Hague. I do acting since a long time ago, started freshly with tennis and my next project is, of course, to learn dutch. I honestly didn't have time to go to a dutch course but I listen to my dutch tennis trainer every Monday for one hour. So I somehow understand it a bit, but I want to learn it for sure! I wish to move to Leiden latest in June but it would be best if I can find an apartment as early as possible so that I can get well settled before my school starts and also visit my mother in Strasbourg. I am particularly interested in the apartment you are renting out because of the nearby amenities, and the relatively short commute to my University. I believe I would be the perfect tenant because, even though I enjoy socializing, I like my home to be a peaceful and private place.
