MSc Aerospace Engineering student at TU Delft

Ciao! My name is Elisa and I am a 22 year old (born 16/12/2002) and I'm coming to the Netherlands for my master's degree in Landscape Architecture. I am looking for a friendly environment to live in and to share my experience with! A little about me: I'm from Milan (Italy) and I have a passion for cooking, I love hiking and spending time in nature. I play the flute and the piccolo competitively (that I wouldn't dare play inside or near the house ;) ) and I paint in my free time. I am a sociable person but I enjoy my quiet time due to the heavy workload of my master's.

Ik ben vrijwel een rustige persoon die blijft echter aan zichzelf maar ga graag gezellig mee naar een borrel als ik uitgenodigd word. Ik zou ook zeggen dat ik mooi begripvol kan zijn. Dus kan ik vaak goed omgaan met mensen. En als er een probleem is, sta ik altijd open om erover te praten. Bovendien, spreek ik beide talen, Nederlands en Engels, vloeiend. Dus ik kan goed communiceren met veel mensen.

Hoi, Ik ben Quinten (jullie nieuwe huisgenoot 😉), 18 jaar en net begonnen met Technische Informatica aan de TU. Het reizen ben ik nu al helemaal zat, dus ik heb mega veel zin om in Delft te wonen en het studentenleven te ontdekken. Ik ben sportief: hockey fanatiek (en ja, daar hoort natuurlijk een biertje bij), probeer de laatste weken van de Laga-intro door te komen en pak graag een uitdaging mee – of dat nou een bergtop beklimmen is of een borrelavond tot het einde volhouden. Naast mijn studie werk ik in de keuken van een pannenkoekenrestaurant, ik neem graag de pannen een keer mee om op een huisavond mijn skills te laten zien. Volgens vrienden ben ik best grappig, ik hou van een avond stevig stappen, maar vind een avondje chillen met vrienden net zo goed top. Ik heb er superveel zin in om jullie beter te leren kennen – tot snel op de instemming!

Hello everybody, I’m Alex (25) and currently in my first year of my masters at the TU Delft. Having lived in the Netherlands before, I am capable of understanding some dutch, speaking it myself still poses a great challenge (I’m on it, I promise 😔) Atm I am living in a DUWO accommodation I got through the Uni. While it’s not a bad place, we have continuous issues with safety in our building (including a break in into our apartment lol). Additionally, roommates cannot be selected with uni housing. Again, while all my roommates are nice, only one of my five roommates is really interested in doing things together and being more than just people who happen to share a flat. Given all those points, plus the fact that I am planning to stay longer than my DUWO contract, I’m currently looking for a new place So far, I’ve not only shared an apartment to save money but to also do activities with my flatmates. From just talking in the evenings, playing board games to going out together etc. and I would like to continue doing so. But of course, everybody needs his/her privacy as well, especially after long days at uni. I’d describe myself as a clean and tidy person and I'd like my roommates to contribute to a clean flat as well. In my spare time, I love to read books and do/watch all sorts of sports, primarily football. More recently, I have also gotten into analog photography and cinema, still in the early stages for both and especially the earlier tends to be negelcted. When it comes to movies, I am always down to watch one and ususally go to the cinema once or twice a week.
