About the place

This home is within walking distance of the campus and the green surroundings of the Binnenveld area, and is looking for a mature post-doc, PhD student or researcher.

With 32 m² of fully furnished indoor living space and 45 m² of private outdoor space, you will have plenty of comfortable, high-quality living space. Only for a few months of the year will part of the home (such as the bathroom and kitchen) be shared to some extent with the owner, a 46-year-old nomad who spends a lot of time abroad.

You will have a campus rental agreement, you can register with the municipality at this address, and communication with the owner is easy, quick and straightforward.

The accommodation will be available from 25 October; please also see the photos. We are looking for someone who can move in no later than 1 November. The basic rent is €875 per month, excluding energy, internet, local taxes and other additional costs.

The home is fully equipped and includes:
    • adjustable bed frame (head and foot sections adjustable to various positions)
    • mattress, bed linen and pillow
    • wardrobe and storage cabinet with ample storage space
    • designer desk with drawers and office chair
    • practical Venetian blinds
    • spacious kitchen with all necessary facilities
    • comfortable dining/seating area in the kitchen
    • washing machine and separate dryer, including drying rack
    • backyard with garden table and chairs
    • helpful and friendly owner
    • bicycle optionally available for the first 5–6 months

We are looking for an English-speaking, non-smoking and above all quiet researcher who is affiliated with the university. This is explicitly not a student house, so we are not looking for young students, but rather someone who appreciates a quiet and peaceful living environment.
