About the place

I am looking for a subtenant for my lovely studio at Hildebrandpad in Leiden from 17 August until 3 November 2026.

The studio is delivered fully furnished and includes a private bathroom and private kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave and air fryer. The building features an indoor bicycle storage area, a rooftop terrace, and two elevators. In Building B, you will find a laundry room and a shared common room.

Because this is a self-contained unit, you can apply for housing allowance for September and October. Depending on your income, this may be around €294 per month, bringing the net rent down to approximately €315 per month.

The location is ideal: right across from a park and about a ten‑minute walk from Leiden Central Station. The faculties of Leiden University and the city centre with all its amenities are close by. The Bio Science Park, Leiden University of Applied Sciences and Naturalis are just around the corner.

As this is a campus contract, the subtenant must be a full-time student, taking a minor, or doing an internship in the Leiden/The Hague region. PhD candidates are also eligible. I am looking for someone 18 years or older who keeps the studio tidy and can water the plants once a week.

The rent is €609 per month, including gas, water, electricity and internet. I ask for a €300 security deposit, which will be fully refunded when the studio is returned in good and clean condition.

Viewings and introductions are possible between 1 and 15 August.
