About the place

Welcome to our beautiful home on the Nieuwegracht. We (Mike, Christoffel, and Clifton) have lived here since November 2024 and unfortunately Clifton has received a sweet opportunity elsewhere. Luckily for you, that means his massive room has become available as of June 2026. Mike is an IT professional who works in the office some days and some days at home. Christoffel is a professional pianist and piano teacher rounding off his masters at the HKU Utrecht Conservatorium, and you'll often hear him practicing downstairs. His work schedule means he's often out during the afternoons and evenings teaching during the school term. We're good friends and, while we don't force each other to spend time together, we do like to hang out and the occasional LAN party is not out of the question (if you like Stronghold Crusader or Starcraft II, that's a big plus). We also have a monthly house cleanup after which we eat out or order takeout. 
This apartment is situated facing away from the street, and is part of a larger building which contains five other apartments (we are strongly convinced ours is the best, however). This apartment is on the second and third floors, and we don't share any walls with other apartments. Beneath us is a business (Phoenix).
 It was totally unfurnished when we came here and we've tried to fill it with nice furniture that suits the space. Clifton's room will be empty, so you can furnish your own room how you wish, though some items may be taken over from Clifton (such as the huge closet you see in the photos) should you wish. The room is around 25 meter squared (5x5 meters). It is quite large, but three of the walls slope a little inwards, giving it a cozy feel. It's on the second floor of our apartment, which was totally renovated two years ago.

We're looking for somebody who will appreciate this beautiful space and that lives peacefully (we're not party-types). If that sounds like you, please feel free to contact us!
