About the place

Hi house seekers,

My name is Noemi, I’m 26 years old, and my roommate will be away for the summer, which means her furnished room will be available for sublet in our cozy home. The apartment itself is 72m² and located in Lombok, just under 10 minutes from the city center. It’s right by the water, next to De Munt and the shopping street Kanaalstraat, so it’s a super lively and vibrant neighborhood. Especially in summer, it’s an amazing spot, you can literally go for a swim in the canal right outside. The rent is €900 incl.

A little about me:
I grew up in Utrecht, but over the past few years I’ve also lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam. I studied camera acting at the New York Film Academy. After graduating during the COVID period, I wasn’t able to continue working in the US, which is why I moved back to the Netherlands. These days I’m mainly focused on screenwriting, and my interests within the film world are very broad. Besides that, I work at the nicest film café in town, Springhaver, and occasionally also work in home care. I’m a very social person, but I also really value having my own time and space.

Who I’m looking for:
Since this is a temporary sublet, I’m looking for someone who is independent, respectful, and comfortable sharing a home for a shorter period. Having a good personal connection is still really important to me, someone to occasionally cook with, have nice conversations with, and enjoy the space together, while also respecting each other’s routines and privacy. We’ll be sharing the common areas of the apartment, so it’s important that we’re aligned in how we live together. Keeping the apartment clean and well maintained is also very important to me. I don’t mind whether you’re Dutch or international, as long as we can communicate comfortably in English. I’m a creative person myself, so I always appreciate that kind of energy, but ultimately it’s about a good match.
