About the place

Hi house seekers,

My name is Noemi, I’m 26 years old, and unfortunately my current roommate is moving out, so I’m looking for a lovely new person to join me in my cozy home. The apartment itself is 72m² and located in Lombok, just under 10 minutes from the city center. It’s right by the water, next to De Munt and the shopping street Kanaalstraat-  so it’s a super lively and vibrant neighborhood. The rent is €900 incl. per person.

A little about me:
I grew up in Utrecht, but over the past few years I’ve also lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam. I studied camera acting at the New York Film Academy. After graduating during the COVID period, I wasn’t able to continue working in the US, which is why I moved back to the Netherlands. These days I’m mainly focused on screenwriting, and my interests within the film world are very broad. Besides that, I work at the nicest film café in town: Springhaver- and occasionally also work in home care. I’m a very social person, but I also really value having my own time and space.

Who I’m looking for:
I’m preferably looking for someone who is already working and has more or less moved beyond the student phase of life. For me, having a genuine personal connection is really important-  someone to cook together with, have good conversations with, and just genuinely enjoy sharing a home with. I’d love to create a household that truly feels like home for both of us, while also respecting each other’s independence and personal space. Apart from our own bedrooms, we’ll of course be sharing the rest of the apartment, so it’s important that we’re aligned in how we live together. Keeping the apartment clean and well maintained is also very important to me. I don’t mind whether you’re Dutch or international, as long as we can communicate comfortably in English. I’m a creative person myself, so I think it’s always nice when someone shares that kind of ambition-  but ultimately, it’s all about the right energy.

P.S. The bedroom in the photos (3-6) is currently furnished by my roommate, who will be taking all of their furniture with them, so the room will of course be delivered empty. The rest of the apartment is mostly completely furnished, but I’d love to hear what you would/could bring along for the rest of the place.
