Hello, I’m Patrick, a 38-year-old Dutch part-time cybersecurity student currently living with Menno, a 24-year-old architect. We’re looking for a third roommate for our spacious and modern top-floor apartment.

We’re looking for a male housemate with a stable job, preferably between 24 and 38 years old.

The apartment is a clean and relaxed space where you can truly unwind. So — parties, alcohol, and drugs are fine in the city, but not at home.

I enjoy working out at the gym around the corner, skating, gaming, watching movies, and organizing LAN parties with friends to play games together. I’m also studying to become a hacker. It would be great if you’re into that too, but of course, it’s not a requirement.

This is a spacious and luxurious apartment in Utrecht, on the other side of the Hogeweide Bridge. The apartment has a lot to offer, including:

Super-fast gigabit ethernet (both wired and Wi-Fi), a NAS with a large collection of movies and TV shows that you can stream on any device in the house, a 200-inch projection screen and projector in the living room that streams all PC games and movies from the NAS, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Nvidia Shield Pro, PlayStation 4, a 65-inch 4K TV, and a private rooftop terrace with artificial grass and a hammock.

The apartment is on the top floor and is very well insulated. There’s only one neighbor, so the soundbar can be turned up loud without complaints — perfect for movie or gaming nights.

There’s a private parking spot in the ground-floor garage where bicycles can be stored. The garage door is electric. There’s also a private storage room on the ground floor, but I’d prefer if you don’t bring too much stuff since the apartment already has everything you need. Parking in the neighborhood is free and there’s always plenty of space.

The building also has a large inner courtyard with artificial grass, benches, and lighting — it looks beautiful in the evening and is a great sunny spot to relax during the day.

Public transport connections are excellent. There are two train stations about a 5-minute bike ride away, from which you can reach the city center within 10 minutes. There are also two shopping centers within 5 minutes by bike, with all major supermarkets, restaurants, and more.

The room is very spacious, about 20 m², and features high-quality dark brown laminate flooring and curtains. The walls are painted white. The room comes with a wardrobe and desk (on loan), and you can use the sofa bed until you buy your own bed. The room can be decorated to your liking.

The initial rental period is 6 months with a 2-month trial period. After that, we’ll see if we can extend. The room is available immediately. The deposit is one month’s rent, which will be returned at the end of your rental period.

It’s important to us that you write a detailed description of yourself and add a profile picture. You’re welcome to come and view the apartment, and if we click, you’ll be our new roommate.

The price of the room is €1100 per month, including gas, electricity, etc. Negotiation is not appreciated.
