About the place

Dear future roommate,
Since my current housemate is moving out, his room will become available on December 1st. You would be living with me (Timo) in a 75 m² apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, bathroom, separate toilet, and a lovely balcony. The apartment is located in the north of Utrecht, close to a nature reserve where you can enjoy lovely walks, and directly above a small shopping centre. Super convenient for your daily groceries! It takes just over ten minutes by bike to reach the city centre, and Overvecht train station is only an eight-minute walk away.
I’m a 29-year-old guy and work full-time at a great scale-up. In my free time, I enjoy dancing (salsa and bachata), sports (running, fitness, and mountain biking), and cooking. I’m also a real coffee enthusiast and always enjoy trying out new activities and hobbies!
I’m looking for a reliable tenant aged 23 or older, who is either at the beginning of their career or towards the end of their studies. It’s important to me that you take good care of the room and contribute to the day-to-day household chores. I’d love to do things together from time to time (working out, cooking, going for walks) or just hang out on the couch for an evening, while also having our own lives and space.
The room is approximately 10 m² and has large windows, but you’ll need to furnish it yourself. One other important thing to mention: the room is available for one year. This could be a good temporary arrangement while you look for a more permanent place.

The rent is €720 per month, excluding €130 in service charges.
