About the place

‼️ Room for rent — first semester (end of Aug–Jan 31) ‼️

Hi! I’m a Dutch student going on exchange for the first semester, so I’m looking for a female incoming exchange student to sublet my space.

You’ll get two private rooms next to each other on the top floor: a bedroom of 6 m² and a private living room of 15 m², both fully and beautifully furnished 🥰. It’s basically a semi‑private floor, with your own sink in the hallway. The only other thing on that floor is the shared shower. Shared facilities are the kitchen, toilet, washing machine, WiFi, shower and a small backyard.

You’ll be living with my 20‑year‑old brother and another student we still have to pick out, who will also be around age 20 and could be male or female. I do want to mention that it’s not a very social house. Since there’s no shared common area besides the kitchen, we mostly keep to ourselves. But we do chat when we’re cooking or passing by. It’s a great place if you like having your own space while still living with friendly people ☺️

The location is super great, less than a 10‑minute walk from the city center. The Vogelenbuurt is one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Utrecht; it’s really pretty and has a very friendly atmosphere.

Rent is €760 + €120 service costs (€880 total) per month. The deposit is one month’s rent.
