About the place

This former monastery was completely rebuilt in 1980 and has recently been used as office space. It is now being converted back into residential units, creating a unique and quiet living environment in a green setting just outside Breda.

In the northern wing, four rooms of approximately 25 m² are available immediately (from July 2026). Each room is located along a central corridor and can be securely locked with a solid door and lock. The corridor offers additional space where tenants can place wardrobes or storage cabinets, if desired.

On the same corridor you will find a shared bathroom and two toilets, which are used by a maximum of three other housemates. The wing also includes a generous common area of about 50 m² that can be used as a shared living room or reception area. All windows are fitted with roller shutters, and the ceilings are fully finished.

The rooms are currently delivered in a basic state, so tenants can furnish and decorate the space entirely to their own taste. In consultation, the landlord can arrange additional works such as new flooring or plastering, depending on agreements made in advance.

On the window side, the rooms overlook a private inner courtyard that is not publicly accessible, offering a pleasant green view and a high level of privacy. On the corridor side, the rooms face the parking area, where a lawn will be created. This side looks out towards the riding school and the entrance of the nearby cadet camp, which underlines the rural and tranquil character of the location.

The building is situated in a beautiful natural environment, yet only about 10 minutes by bike from Breda central station (you can cycle via the cadet camp). Warm water and internet are included in the rent; heating/gas costs are excluded and will be charged separately.

These rooms/apartments are offered as short‑term accommodation only. The maximum continuous stay per contract is 6 months. Rotation of the main contract holder within this period is allowed, as long as it is agreed in advance with the landlord and complies with the applicable regulations.
