* Erasmus University: 15 minutes biking distance or by bus 
* Alexander (shopping) centre and train station: 10 minutes by bike or 15 minutes by bus 
* Rotterdam centre: 20 minutes by subway/metro or train

Moreover, all essential shops and supermarkets like Albert Heijn, COOP, Jumbo, HEMA, ZARA etc. are in walking/bike distance. 

At Alexander shopping centre you can find shops as ZARA and H&M.
