A fully furnished bedroom is available in a newly renovated apartment in Kralingen from September (or October). The apartment is located between Erasmus University and Rotterdam city centre, both about a 5 minute bike ride away. The room includes new furnishings and a custom built wardrobe. 

The room is rented under the Dutch hospitaverhuur (lodger) rules. I suggest reading about them before applying. BRP registration is possible and a rental agreement will be provided. 

As the owner I put a lot of effort into renovating the apartment and furnishing the room to a high standard. As a former student living in the terrible corporate rental rooms myself, I know how much your living environment affects your studies and quality of life. I believe everyone deserves to live with dignity and respect, where they can focus on their goals and enjoy life.

This is a tidy, minimalist and quiet household. It is important that we have a good fit as roommates. The person I'm looking for is a master's student at Erasmus University, responsible, tidy and considerate. My only red lines - I don’t often want other people in my house, or a lot of noise, if you want to do this, please don’t apply. Otherwise you're free to live your life as you wish.


I am a 28 years old male, I work as a tax consultant after completing my studies at Erasmus University.  Originally I am from Serbia and I grew up with two younger sisters, so sharing a home and respecting other people's space has always been normal to me. I live by the principles of simple living and minimalism. If I am not working I am playing video games, watching shows or reading. I am outdoorsy and often go on hiking trips. I have a 23-7 sleeping routine, work from the office 4 days a week and usually don't drink or go out on weekends. I am renting out the spare bedroom mainly to help offset the costs of buying and renovating the apartment. At the same time, I wish to live with someone I can get along with.

For the admin part, I will review applications and speak to candidates. Afterwards I will send a rental contract and a document which you can use to register at the municipality. It will be necessary to review your rights to live in the Netherlands and how you plan to finance yourself.
