About the place

Hi everyone! A bright, approximately 12m² bedroom is opening up in a spacious, self-contained house located in a quiet and green neighborhood in Rijswijk.

The building is scheduled for demolition/renovation around April 2027, however, we will be told about the exact time 3 months before. 

The house is spread over two floors, offering a lot of space. Upstairs, your bedroom features its own small, private balcony. Currently, there is no floor installed in your bedroom, however, I have some carpet floor leftover from my room, which could be enough for the room if you leave the space under the bed blank (carpet floor see picture). While there are technically three bedrooms upstairs, one is quite small and will probably remain unused or used only to dry clothes, meaning you will only be sharing the entire house with one other housemate!

Upstairs you will also find a shared bathroom equipped with a washing machine, while the toilet is conveniently located downstairs as a separate room. Downstairs features a massive, bright living room complete with a large dining table and two comfortable couches. The kitchen is fully equipped with all essentials, including a mini-oven and an airfryer. There is also a spacious backyard—it’s currently a bit wild and ungroomed but it is quite nice. 

As subletting is strictly prohibited in the contract, you will be officially added to the main rental contract, which means registration at the municipality (gemeente) is possible.

Location & Commute:
The location is highly practical, especially for students or young professionals working or studying in Delft or The Hague:

Groceries: Supermarket is just a 2-minute bike ride or a 7-minute walk away.

Public Transport: Rijswijk Train Station is within walking distance, and a tram stop is just a 5-minute walk from the front door. 

Please note that the utility costs are quite high: approx. 300/month
