About the place

To save us both time, effort, and disappointment, it would be helpful if you read through my profile and the advertisement carefully.

- The bus station (Tramplein) is a 2-minute walk, and from here it is only a 23-minute bus ride to Amsterdam (Central). Purmerend train station is an 11-minute walk (4-minute bike ride), Albert Heijn and Jumbo are a 3-4 minute walk, and "de Koemarkt" with its cafes, restaurants, and terraces is a 4-5 minute walk. The room is located in an apartment on the first and second floors, right in the center of Purmerend, above a shop. You have to walk through the shop to enter the apartment.

During the week, the apartment is shared with me, a relaxed, social, communicative, and happy (young) man of 42, working as a self-employed entrepreneur, dog trainer, dog sitter, and (life) coach. So, I regularly look after 1, 2, or 3 dogs at home; during holidays and public holidays, it is usually a bit busier. Every Saturday and Sunday, and for half of the holidays, my two sweet daughters, aged 10 and 13, are with me. Due to surgery when I was young, I have chronic back pain and can only work part-time. I do most of my coaching online, so I am home quite a lot.

The living room, kitchen, one toilet, and the roof terrace are located on the first floor and are shared. The two bedrooms are on the second floor and are private. These are separated by the shared bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). In the bedroom, there is already a double bed, a small cabinet (the low cabinet on the right), another open wardrobe (the white one on the left, which can be removed if desired), and a TV. Apart from that, everything else is present in the house: TV, washing machine, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, oven/microwave, gas stove, fridge, freezer, etc.

I enjoy having lunch or dinner together (sometimes), but if you don't feel the need for that, that's perfectly fine too. So it is up to you how much you "pitch in" on the household chores. As long as we keep things a bit cozy, tidy, and clean together.
