About the place

The room is in an apartment on the first and second floors, right in the center of Purmerend, above a shop. You have to go through the shop to enter the apartment.
During the week, the apartment is shared with me, a relaxed, sociable, communicative, and happy (young) man of 42, who works as a self-employed dog trainer, dog sitter and (life) coach. I regularly look after 1, 2, or 3 dogs at home, but it tends to be a bit busier during the holidays and national public holidays my 2 sweet daughters, aged 10 and 13, are with me every Saturday and Sunday, and half of the holidays. Due to surgery when I was young, I have chronic back pain and can only work part-time. I do most of my coaching online, so I'm home quite a bit. And then, of course, there's Ghost, my sweet, happy, and obedient 7-year-old Swiss White Shepherd. So you must love children and dogs!!! 😀

The bedroom already has a double bed, a cabinet (the low cabinet on the right), and another open closet (the white one on the left, which can be removed if needed). Everything else is included: a TV, washing machine, kitchenware, dishwasher, oven/microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, etc.

- The living room, kitchen, toilet, and roof terrace are on the first floor and are shared.
- The two bedrooms are on the second floor and are private. They are separated by a shared bathroom (shower, toilet, sink).
- The rent includes gas & electricity, Wi-Fi, Netflix, NPO+, and a cleaning lady once a week.
- I'm smoking (medical) weed for my back pain in the house.
- Right in the center of Purmerend! The bus station (Tramplein) is a 2-minute walk, and from there it's only a 23-minute bus ride to Amsterdam Central Station. Purmerend train station is an 11-minute walk (4-minute bike ride), Albert Heijn and Jumbo supermarkets are a 3-4 minute walk, and "de Koemarkt" (the cow market) with its cafes, restaurants, and terraces is a 4-5 minute walk.

I'm in for sometimes having lunch or dinner together, but if you don't feel like it, that's perfectly fine. So, it's up to you to what extent you participate in the household. As long as we keep things cozy, tidy, and clean together.
