About the place

From March 15, a room will become available in our house. The room costs around €750 per month, is within walking distance of the city center, and has a direct bus connection to the university. By bike, it takes about 17 minutes. The room has a king size bed and the small desk on the picture is meanwhile upgraded to a bigger desk.
We are a Dutch-German couple (Julia, 33, founder of an online violin school; Sascha, 37, psychotherapist) with a 3-year-old daughter and a baby of half a year. We live on the lower two floors of our four-story house.
The top two floors (with a private kitchenette and bathroom) are shared by a female MSc. accounting student, Dilraba from China, and currently Phd student Camilia from Italy, who will be moving out in March.
From time to time (about once a month), we have dinner together as a house; these meals are vegan or vegetarian.
A cleaner comes every two weeks (included in the rent).
In the attic, there is a small kitchen area shared with Dilraba, equipped with an oven with microwave function, a toaster, and a coffee machine. It’s not ideal for people who love cooking, but very practical for simple meals.
The bathroom is also shared with Dilraba.
Important to know: because there is a family living downstairs, the room is not suitable for night owls, people who often host parties or many guests, or those who like to play loud music. Drugs and smoking are not allowed. We have quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Smoking and drugs are strictly prohibited.
As the house is internationally oriented, we are preferably looking for an international housemate or someone who has affinity with that.
