About the place

Room for rent in one of the most beautiful areas around Groningen.

You’ll instantly feel at home in this Scandinavian-style house, surrounded by nature and located right next to the forest—your garden practically flows into it. It’s not a holiday park, but it certainly feels like one.

The room is 12 m² and located on the ground floor, right next to the largest bathroom. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, toilet, and a separate “aquarium house” with a ping-pong table. Outside, you can enjoy the garden with a Jacuzzi and swimming pool (plan to re-open in spring after winter break). There is also an indoor whirlpool.

You’ll be living with:


• a Russian professional working in the area and her 10 year old son

• a software engineer from Estonia’


I work as a cancer researcher at the hospital in Groningen, and since I’m only there part-time, I rent out the extra rooms.

Location: Muntendam (Fam. Schrijverstr), 26 km from Groningen.

Train station: 3.7 km away, with a bus line connecting to the station.

Minimum rental period: 3-6 months

Shorter stays possible in consultation.

Registration possible (not for less than 3 months).

Some pets are allowed (ask for conditions)
