About the place

I am looking for one additional tenant for my spacious and peaceful home in Maastricht for a period of approximately 6 months. I also live in the house myself, but apart from that you will practically have the rest of the home to yourself. The house is fully furnished and located in a quiet green area, with a bus stop right in front of the house and shops conveniently nearby.

This is not a typical student house, but a calm and homely environment where usually only one or at most two tenants live at the same time. Because of this, the atmosphere is personal, relaxed, and comfortable, with plenty of privacy and peace.

All shared facilities can be used freely.

I am preferably looking for a calm, honest, and non-smoking person who is respectful towards the home and enjoys a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I generally prefer a somewhat older tenant.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of welcoming people from all over the world into my home, including Australia, Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica, Kenya, and Singapore. This international mix has honestly been one of the things that makes living here so enjoyable.

I understand that moving to a new city or country can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I try to make sure new tenants quickly feel comfortable and at home. I am always happy to help with practical matters, tips about Maastricht, or simply a friendly conversation when wanted.

For me, this is more than just renting out a room. I want this to be a welcoming place where someone can truly feel at home.
