Hello,

My name is Martha, and due to a housemate suddenly moving out, I am looking for a new housemate from around October 10th onwards.

I am a 28-year-old woman who has already finished studying (Applied Psychology at Leiden University of Applied Sciences) and is currently working. Socially, I enjoy having a chat and doing fun things together, such as watching movies, going for walks, having coffee, etc. But I also enjoy having some time to myself. I lean more towards tomboy than girly, and I like geeky and fantasy-related things. I am quite a busy person and always have something going on, such as my volunteer work with the lifeguard association or one of my hobbies (gaming, baking, painting, digital drawing, or swimming).

The other housemate is Leah, a 22-year-old woman from Ireland who has been studying for her Master's in European Law at Leiden University since September. She enjoys art and creative activities, such as drawing and painting (watercolour), as well as romantic movies. For her thesis, she wants to write about rights and legislation surrounding the conflict between art and AI.

We are both quiet, tidy, and independent. We both have experience studying/living abroad. I am Dutch, but I spent a year in the USA. Leah previously studied in Italy and Spain. We are both fluent in English.

We are preferably looking for a female international student/professional as a housemate. Ideally, someone who is quiet and tidy. Personally, I am not really into clubbing (Leah does go occasionally), loud parties, or having lots of people over. Of course, having friends over from time to time is absolutely fine. I think it would be nice to cook together when it works out, but this is definitely not a requirement. Apart from the weekly cleaning chores, there are very few household responsibilities.

The room will be available from the beginning of October, although I realize that is quite short notice. So, I am hoping to find a new housemate from around October 10th onwards. It is Room B (see floor plan). The room will be furnished with everything you can see in the photos. Room B was completely cleaned and repainted last December.
