About the place

A quiet studio located in the forest, attached to a house shared with the owner. The house sits in a green natural environment with a large garden bordering directly on the forest, in a protected natural reserve with abundant wildlife (birds, squirrels, badgers, martens, deer).

I live here with my two children (8 and 6). The house has a calm and respectful atmosphere, so it is most suitable for a working student, visiting researcher, creative professional, or someone temporarily working in the area who enjoys nature and a peaceful environment.

The place tends to attract researchers, creatives, and professionals who appreciate a quiet environment.

The studio has its own entrance, bathroom, and bedroom/living area, offering a high degree of privacy. There is a small kitchenette nearby for coffee, tea, light meals, and washing up, and access to a larger shared kitchen in the house. The studio can be semi-furnished if needed.

The space is offered for temporary stays (for example a few months) rather than long-term rental. It can also be a comfortable base while you look for a more permanent place to live in the area.

I rent out the studio this way because I enjoy meeting interesting people and occasionally sharing the house with someone for a short period, rather than renting it out through platforms.

We are looking for someone who enjoys living independently and respects a quiet home environment.

Location & accessibility
The house is located just outside Hilversum:
	•	~6 minutes by bike to the nearest train station
	•	~12 minutes by train to Utrecht
	•	~30 minutes by train to Amsterdam

The location is best suited for someone comfortable cycling or with access to a car.
