About the place

Hi!
One of our housemates is leaving in November, so we are looking for a new housemate starting December 1, 2026. The room is located on the first floor of a historic villa in Hilversum.

There are 10 of us (mixed group) living in the house; that might sound like a lot or a bit intense, but it’s actually quite manageable. There are four rooms on the ground floor, sharing a toilet, shower, and kitchen. Three women live on the first floor, while two men and one woman live on the second floor. These six people share two toilets, a shower, and a kitchen. One of the women on the first floor is leaving, so that space is becoming available. It consists of two rooms, with a total surface of 25m2. 

We are a quiet household; many of us work, and the average age is between 25 and 29. We sometimes describe our house as an informal apartment complex: you have your own life and mostly do your own thing, but we share the common areas and clean together.

We are looking for someone who fits this profile. Whether or not you are a student doesn't really matter.

Please note! 1) The price for the room isn't 100% fixed yet; the final amount still needs to be calculated. The figure mentioned is an indication of the base rent, based on previous rates set by the landlord. 2) The clothing rack, TV, and slim wardrobe (see the last two photos) can be purchased from the current tenant.
