Room Available on Parklaan!

Due to the departure of a housemate, a room will soon be available. It is a 15 to 20 m² room in the second floor.

The apartment (approximately 150 m²) features a spacious common living room, a modern shared bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room. There are a total of 3 bedrooms, and there is also a large, south-facing roof terrace with BBQ. The apartment is located in the center of Haarlem, just a 3-minute walk from the train station.

I’m Raul, 23 years old, and I work full-time at NS as a train conductor. I prefer to be in the center of Haarlem at my favorite cafe, but you can also find me at the big market. I love independence and being in my own bubble, but I also like to make space for things outside of it.

I'm Albert, 30 years old. I work in an LED lighting company in Amsterdam. One of my passions is music (I play guitar in band). When the weather is nice, I also enjoy cycling around the Netherlands. I like to sporadically make BBQs and lunch in the house with my Spanish/Catalan friends (you will be also invited!), so I consider myself a very sociable person, but I respect the resting times of my flatmates (and I want them to respect mines).

We are looking for a housemate who is clean and tidy, we take very seriously maintaining order in the house. The new housemate should also be social, but also self-sufficient and proactive in maintaining the house in good shape and housemates coexistence. Clear and assertive communication is a must.

The monthly rent is €880, including utilities. (Yearly sewage/rubbish taxes apart). Additionally, there is an income requirement (rent should not be more than 35% of the income).

The room will be available from December 31st, and possibly earlier, depending on arrangements. Furniture of the room can be bought from the previous tenant if agreed. Otherwise, it would be delivered empty.
