About the place

I’m moving out, so I’m looking for a girl to take over my room on a long-term basis from 1 September 2026 (indefinite). Everything is arranged properly, with a contract with the rental agency.

The apartment is a beautiful ground-floor flat right by the Westerhaven, on the west side of Groningen’s city centre, within walking distance of the Grote Markt, supermarkets, gyms, and the Noorderplantsoen. The living room has high ceilings, tall original windows, and a back garden. It’s fully furnished with seating, a dining table, TV, and an equipped kitchen.

The room is comfortable and furnished, with a double bed and a large window. There’s no desk/table in the room.

You’d share the apartment with one easy-going housemate.

I’m specifically looking for a female tenant. There won’t be a viewing, since we are both out of town, so if you’re interested and everything works for you, we can proceed directly with signing the contract.

The contract is a combined contract, so the €625 deposit I originally paid in 2021 will simply stay with the apartment and be transferred to the new tenant. This means that you will pay me the deposit, rather than paying a new deposit to the rental agency.

I may also need 1-2 extra days around 1st-2nd of September to completely move my belongings out, so there might be a short overlap during the move-in period.
