About the place

I am renting out a bedroom and a study room in my house in the heart of Groningen. It’s just a 7-minute bike ride to the city centre and a 10-minute bike ride to the Zernike Campus. The room is available temporarily until 31 January, possibly until mid-February.

My house will be put up for sale at the end of October. The entire process will take at least 3 months, which is why I am looking for someone for a temporary stay.

You will have your own bedroom and study room. The living room, kitchen, bathroom and other shared spaces are shared with me. My motto is “Mi casa es tu casa”. We live together and respect each other’s space and needs. It’s important to me that you feel at home here.

There is also a small shed where you can store your bike. And there’s a lovely garden with a veranda. Autumn is approaching, so you probably won’t be spending too much time outside, but it’s still a lovely place to have. The street and neighbourhood are very quiet, with a mix of younger and older residents. Supermarkets such as Lidl and Albert Heijn are just a 2-minute walk away.

I’m 41 years old and run my own business as a life coach for people who were supposed to be twins but were born alone. I also do some other work from time to time. I’m a very sociable person and always happy to have a chat.

I have various hobbies, including yoga, painting clothes, travelling, personal development and spending time in nature. I enjoy having dinner together every now and then, but there’s absolutely no obligation!
