Hi future housemate!

Starting January 1, 2027, a bright room will become available in our apartment on Aquamarijnstraat in Vinkhuizen. It is an unfurnished carpeted bedroom of 13 m² with a major plus: a private balcony of about 7 m² with an unobstructed view of the greenery! The rent is €400 per month, including utilities.

About us You will be sharing the apartment with us: Victor (28) and Roeland (30). Victor studies Business Administration and enjoys running or rowing in his free time. Roeland studies Chemical Engineering and can mostly be found at the gym. We are both quite sporty, but we also definitely love a good time. We enjoy going to festivals or fun parties, and we like having a drink together or heading out somewhere.

The apartment & the room We don't have a separate living room, but our spacious eat-in kitchen basically serves as our living area. We recently got three new chairs, so there is already a spot waiting for you to eat together, grab a beer, or just catch up. At the same time, everyone has their own life, and you can always retreat to the peace and quiet of your own room or private balcony.

The room itself (13 m²) comes with a neat laminate floor. You will share the kitchen, bathroom, and separate toilet with the two of us. There is also a laundry machine and dishwasher available, and you can safely store your bike in our private storage unit downstairs. The location is great: the Vinkhuizen shopping center (with an Albert Heijn, Lidl, and Aldi, among others) is just around the corner, you can cycle to the Zernike Campus in 5 to 10 minutes, and you can reach the Grote Markt in under 15 minutes.

Rent & practical matters The rent is €400 per month (including gas, water, electricity, internet, and municipal taxes), and the deposit is also €400. It is an indefinite contract via an official sublease through the main tenant, Roeland. This is all officially arranged with written permission from the housing association Patrimonium and a permit from the municipality of Groningen. Registering with the municipality at this address is therefore completely possible.

Who are we looking for? Because we are slightly older students ourselves, we are looking for someone aged 23 or older (studying or working) who is in a similar phase of life and is preferably looking for a nice place to live for the longer term. The most important thing is that we click well, that you are social and reasonably tidy, and that you enjoy doing things together every now and then. Nothing is mandatory; everyone is free to do their own thing.
