My name is Anita and I move out from this fantastic place to live in Rotterdam. I am helping my dear flatmate to find a new person with whom he shares the house with.

The house has a living area of 100 m2 and is located on a 209 m2 plot. Big garage at the back of the house 40m2!
Fleskensstraat is located in the neighborhood Braakhuizen-Zuid. This is a child friendly neighborhood with relatively many families. Furthermore, it is a relatively quiet neighborhood considering the population density.
The house is easily accessible with many amenities nearby. Located within walking distance of the center of Geldrop, walking distance of a supermarket. In addition, the nearest exit road and train station are both just 4 minutes away.

Who you will live with:

Hi, I’m Simon, 27 years old and originally from Austria. I moved to the Netherlands about a year ago to start my PhD at TU/e. In my free time, I’m usually doing some kind of sport, especially climbing, or taking care of the garden during the summer. I also really enjoy cooking and try to grow as many herbs as possible, so I always have some fresh ones ready when I need them.

I’m a pretty relaxed person and always up for a chat, cooking together from time to time, or playing a card or board game. At the same time, I really value having some Me-Time and respect when others need their own space.

My current housemate, whom I’ve shared the house with for the past year, is unfortunately moving to Rotterdam, so I’m now looking for someone new to share the house with. I’m quite tidy myself and like to keep the common areas clean, so I’d appreciate living with someone who feels the same way. Ideally, you’d also enjoy actually sharing a home with someone rather than simply living alongside them out of necessity. I’d love to have a housemate who is up for occasionally cooking or hanging out together—and perhaps even taking care of the garden with me, since that’s much more fun together 😊
