About the place

From February 22 till August 2023, a room will be vacant in our beautiful Waterhuis on the Bierkant, located on the university Campus. To fill up our house again, we are looking for a temporary resident!

We are a fun mixed-gender house that likes to do things together. We play competitive Mario Kart on our Nintendo Switch, we do pub quizzes, we sing (out of tune) along with music whilst doing the dishes (and evenings that suddenly turn into karaoke nights), we watch bad movies/series, we make campfires, and fun drinking evenings as well. We also have an impulsive theme night once in a while, which often ends in a party with an accompanying evening walk through the beautiful forest behind our house.
All these fun things happen spontaneously and on their own initiative, so we are mainly looking for someone who also takes the initiative and proposes to do something together!

During the week we eat together for four days (Monday to Thursday) according to a monthly cooking schedule, but there are usually also people to cook/eat with on the weekend. In addition, we have a cleaning schedule with various tasks to keep the house in an acceptable state. As a resident of our house, we, therefore, expect you to participate in this schedule. Once in a while we also do a joint big cleaning to get the house shining again, of course with our own playlist in the background.

The available room is 17m2 with a (spacious) personal bathroom that contains a toilet, shower, sink, and a large closet. You also have a window with a door on the ground floor, so you can easily sit outside your room in warm weather. You live with 7 other (super fun) people. Since the room is being sublet, furniture and other items remain in the room, in agreement with the temporarily departing roommate.

If you are interested, send us a message! Based on this message you may be invited for an interview.
