About the place

Hi !

We are looking for a new roommate(M or F) in Enschede. The rented room will be available on March 1st 2026. 
We are two guys, Giorgos(Greek,28) and Melle(Dutch,25). One studies in Saxion creative media and gaming technology, and the other studies Robotics at UT. Giorgos enjoys strategy games, sci-fi series, and fitness. Melle likes gaming, cycling (when the weather allows) and movies/shows.

The room for rent costs 418€ all utilities included(heating, electricity, internet etc). It is small but cozy enough for a student and their stuff. The house is in Rembrandtlaan 2-3 minutes away by bike from 4 supermarkets and an Action shop. It is ~15 minutes by bike from U. Twente and ~7 minutes from Saxion.

From our new roommate, we expect to be kind and respectful, and a non-smoker. Also, it is required from the new roommate to buy the furniture of the previous one, at 270€. These include :
Single bed + mattress, closet, desk, lamp, 2x clothes storages under bed. 
The original price of these was around ~450-500€ (mattress is of good quality). Feel free to ask for more details.

Regarding us as roommates, we mostly have our own schedules with different school/study hours and we work on the side. As a result we don't do often activities together, but we are open to having a dinner or playing a board game once in a while together. Bringing friends is of course allowed, as long as there is no noise reaching the other bedrooms at night. There is a cleaning schedule that splits the house in 3 section, and each person is every week responsible for one section.
