About the place

​We are a sociable student house of 5 (6 total) students, 3 men and 2 women, all between 18 and 25 years old. Starting from December 1st, two of us (women) are leaving, and that is why we are looking for a new housemate(s) =)

​The room is bright and is approximately 23m2. There is a shared living room, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. Furthermore, we have a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and a kitchen with everything we need to prepare a tasty meal. We also have a house cat named Milo (Milo will, however, be leaving in January). From Huize Mekkelholt, it’s a 10-minute bike ride to the UT (University of Twente) and about 7 minutes to the city center. Ideal!

​In our house, one of us is active in a student association, another in a sports club, and we all enjoy student life. We eat together a few times during the week; everything is allowed, but nothing is mandatory. We also organize a Christmas dinner with former housemates and a big clean-up every year.

​We are looking for someone who, just like us, is spontaneous but also enjoys a cozy evening at home. The most important thing is that someone cleans up their own mess and contributes to the household; for this, we use a cleaning schedule. We are currently a mix of Dutch and English nationalities and are open to everyone!
