About the place

Two rooms, intended for 1 person. Not for couples. Total approx. 30m2 in Ederveen. €850 per month inclusive. Available for a minimum period of 3 months (lodger/hospita contract). Please note: this is a TEMPORARY stay. "The rooms can be delivered either unfurnished or furnished.

Because I am currently considering a career change and may move in the future, I unfortunately cannot guarantee a long-term living space. Therefore, there is a maximum limit to the rental period. If I move out myself, your stay will also end, as I am the main tenant. Of course, everything will be done in proper consultation; you will never suddenly find yourself out on the street.

Wi-Fi is available.

• 10-minute bike ride to Veenendaal-de Klomp train station
• 38-minute bike ride to Wageningen University

Your living space:
You will be living in a rurally located Finnish log cabin with a large, enclosed garden. Within my home, you will have two private rooms at your disposal:
• Room 1 (+/- 9 m2): Located on the ground floor.
• Room 2 (+/- 21 m2): Located on the first floor (attic). This room has its own sink.

Only Room 1 has central heating. Room 2 upstairs has limited insulation, so you will be provided with an electric heater equipped with a smart plug, allowing you to warm up the room (in advance if needed) when it gets cold.

You could set up one room as an office or living space with a kitchenette and use the other as a bedroom. You are free to arrange it however you like.
The rooms will be delivered unfurnished, but if needed, I can lend you the following items:
• Fridge
• Freezer
• Electric hot plate / hob
• Coffee maker
• Cutlery and cooking utensils
• Wardrobes / cupboards
• Single or double bed
• Sofa
• Table
• Vacuum cleaner

Additional amenities:
• A private toilet in the hallway on the ground floor.
• A shared bathroom on the ground floor.
• A shared washing machine in the utility room.
• A shared section of the garden for you to use.
• An utility room/ space for some storage 

I am looking for someone who:
• Enjoys their own space and being independent (within your own rooms). Not because I am unsocial, but so that we both feel we are living independently without any "social pressure." When I am home, I like to do my own thing.
• Does not cook frequently. The kitchen is located in my living room, so we will share it as little as possible. If you want to prepare something occasionally, that is fine, but the baseline is that you cook in your own room. I have a two-burner induction hob ready for you. My previous housemate actually managed this very easily with an air fryer in his room. Washing up the dishes can be done by hand in your upstairs sink, or you can occasionally put your dirty dishes in my dishwasher.
• Is quiet and keeps noise to a minimum between 23:00 and 10:00. No loud music, please.
• Does not shower early in the morning, as the bathroom is located right next to my bedroom.
• Enjoys parties, social gatherings, and relationships outside the house rather than bringing them home.

About me:
I am a 34-year-old working woman, splitting my time between working from home and the office. I have a dog, frequently pet-sit other dogs, and keep a flock of chickens and ducks. They often roam around the garden, so it is a plus (especially for your own comfort) if you are comfortable around animals, particularly dogs. Your rooms are private, and the animals will not enter them.
