About the place

From September 1st, a furnished room of approximately 12 m² will become available in a neat and pleasant home in Deventer. The room is initially available for 6 months, with the possibility of staying longer afterwards.

The kitchen, living room, bathroom and toilet are shared. The bathroom and toilet are separate. There is also a fairly spacious basement with, among other things, some sports equipment and a rowing machine.

The house is conveniently located in relation to the city centre, train station and amenities:

Bus stop: 1 minute walk. By bus: approximately 10 minutes to the train station

10 minutes by bike to the city centre or train station

15 minutes by bike to Saxion

10 minutes walk to the IJssel

5 minutes walk to Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Lidl

You will share the house with one male housemate, aged 32. He works full-time and regularly works from home. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, cooking and sports.

He is social and enjoys occasionally having dinner together, playing a board game or watching a movie. At the same time, he thinks it is important that home is also a place where you can find peace and do your own thing.

Important to know: your housemate has a 1.5-year-old son, who will occasionally be present and sometimes stay overnight. It is therefore important that you are good with children and feel comfortable with a young child being around from time to time.
