About the place

Located on one of the most beautiful streets in The Hague, near the Lange Voorhout, is a unique, spacious room in the basement level of a stately townhouse. It includes a private kitchenette and bathroom, making it ideal for a working professional or student. (The kitchenette is equipped with a small dishwasher, a small stovetop, and a microwave; you are welcome to bring additional kitchen appliances.) A requirement of the tenancy is that the space must be thoroughly cleaned once a week. French doors open onto a private patio overlooking a lovely garden (access to the garden can be arranged by agreement). The space offers a great deal of privacy and quiet. Please note that the owner uses the washing machine and dryer once or twice a week, and laundry may occasionally be hung out to dry. You will share the front entrance, hallway, and toilet. We are looking for a quiet tenant who does not host overnight guests—though occasional exceptions may be discussed. Suitable for non-smokers only.
