About the place

I’m looking for a lovely, like-minded woman (ideally aged 28–38) to rent a private room in my home in IJburg. Ideally, you’re a working professional who’s looking for more than just a room to rent — connection and community.

I love cooking dinners, hosting friends, sharing good food and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It would be lovely to share the occasional dinner, have a glass of wine, or simply enjoy a good chat after a busy day. I’m hoping to find someone who also values those wholesome, everyday moments of connection, while of course having their own space and independence.

The house has a large garden to enjoy, and there’s also a spare room that we can both use when family or friends come to visit — so there’s room for everyone. There’s also a little dog who stays at the house a few days a week, so hopefully you’re someone who enjoys having a furry friend around. 🐶
