About the place

Hey! I'm renting out a bright, fully furnished two-floor apartment in Zeeburg and looking for someone to move into the second bedroom. I'm a tenant also, and we'd be sharing the place. The apartment is big, full of light, and sits right on the water with a great view. It's quiet and well connected, 15 min by bike to Centraal Station and close to trams, buses, Flevopark, Javaplein, AH, Jumbo, LIDL, and any essentials you'd need.

The available room is about 9.3m2 and opens onto your own private 3m2 deck. Gets great sun, ideal for working with the door open, relaxing outside, or just having a quiet space that's yours. The room is semi-furnished and comes with a mattress, a dresser, and a work table. No bed frame, so bring your own if you want one. Plenty of room left to add your own touches.

The rest of the apartment is modern and well set up. Big kitchen with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher. Cozy living room with water views. Bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, separate toilet, and an in-unit washer and dryer. It's a two-floor flat, so there's plenty of space and privacy. Wooden floors, lots of natural light, no clutter.

Bit about me: I work in logistics, born in Belgrade, raised in Canada, and moved here from the UK. I'm social, outgoing, and like having good people around. I'm into dance music, playing sports, watching sports, going out, documentaries/movies, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I'm also into personal growth and spirituality, I try to live in a way that's grounded, curious, and mindful. At home, I keep things clean and relaxed, and I treat the space with care. I'd want the same from you.

I'm looking for someone mature, respectful, and easy to live with. Ideally someone I can consider a friend in addition to a roommate. I'd like this to be a place to share the occasional drink, watch a match, have friends over etc. Of course, we'll both have our own space and routines, but I value the vibe being easy going.

Rent is 1600EUR per month, all-in. That covers everything: utilities, internet, heating. 1600EUR deposit. Registration is possible. The room's available from MAY12, and I'd prefer a minimum stay of one year. Notice period is 30 days, aligned to the rent cycle (1st to 1st of the month). No couples, no pets, no smoking indoors (can smoke on balcony).
