About the place

I’m looking for a lovely female flatmate to move into my new apartment near Vondelpark as soon as possible! Registration possible! Permanent Contract! 

📍 The location in Zuid

The apartment is in a lovely spot, just:

* 5 minutes’ walk from Vondelpark 🌳
* 5 minutes’ walk in the other direction to a beautiful canal with a large grassy area where you can go for a swim in summer, surrounded by lovely bars and cafés. ☀️
* The closest supermarket is Dirk, 5 minutes walk alongside a canal
* the area looks like straight out of a pinterest board, old red brick houses, trees and canals everywhere 🍁

🏡 The apartment & your space

* You’d have two private rooms: a bedroom that comfortably fits a double bed and potentially a small sofa, plus a second room perfect for a desk and wardrobe. 
* The second room provides access to the bathroom, so I’d occasionally need to pass through it to shower in the evening or do laundry once or twice a week
* There is also a small shared living / guest / storage room underneath the roof, that i will renovate
* We’d have a small kitchen and bathroom, plus a balcony split equally between us.

💰 Rent: €1,375 excluding utilities, approximately €1,450–1,500 including bills.

📄 Rental arrangement

Everything is split 50/50. You would be on the contract with the landlord with me.

🤍 A little about me

I work in fintech sales and would describe myself as a true social butterfly! I love making the most of Amsterdam, whether that means meeting friends for a glass of wine, discovering a great restaurant or café, visiting a market, trying a new sport, or checking out events around the city. I’ve recently even discovered a love for going to the opera here in Amsterdam! I also love travelling and am often away for work.

I enjoy going out after work, even during the week, so I’m often out and about rather than spending every evening at home. I’m more of a wine-bar-and-good-conversation person than a clubbing or techno person, and I generally prefer socialising outside the apartment. I occasionally have friends over, but I’m not someone who regularly hosts parties.

I love having my own space while still enjoying a friendly, warm atmosphere at home. One practical thing to know is that I might occasionally need to take a quick shower late in the evening, which is why the bathroom access through your second room is something we’d need to be comfortable with.

🍀 Who I’m looking for

A young professional who is financially comfortable and would enjoy a more private living arrangement, with plenty of personal space while still having the warmth and company of living with someone.

Ideally, you’re clean, considerate, respectful, and mature, and appreciate a calm, cosy home rather than a party flat. Someone who values their independence but also enjoys the occasional chat, coffee, or shared moment with their flatmate. Essentially, someone who wants their own little sanctuary while still having a friendly face around. 🤍
